The CUISINART Advantage 12pc Ceramic-Coated Color Knife Set with Blade Guards is a great knife set for the price. It retails for $29.99 but I was able to get it for half price from Target. I was surprised how sharp they were compared to the knife. set I purchased for about the same price. I had my previous set for about four months before I decided to get these, and I am so glad I did. This set was $2 dollars more, and 100 times better! I bought the first set out of desperation. We had just moved, and we had nothing. I love that the Cuisinart came with knife guards. In our small New Orleans apartment, space is an issue. I don’t have to worry about cutting myself while digging through a draw that is overflowing with other
cutlery.

These knives cut through fruit, vegetables and poultry with
ease. They cut as well as the expensive brands so even if you pay
retail, you are still getting a deal. I really wish I bought these sooner.

The colors are really pretty and helps you tell them apart. Color coding reduces the risk of cross-contamination during food preparation. The set Includes: 8″ Chef Knife, 8″ Slicing Knife, 8″ Serrated Bread Knife, 7″ Santoku Knife, 6.5″ Utility Knife, 3.5″ Paring Knife. The smaller white FARBERWARE was nothing to write home about. It wasn’t as sharp as the CUISINART set and cost me $6.99. Obviously not worth it. I will be sticking with the CUISINART!
