I had a chance to try Crumbl cookies recently. It has been all the rage on social media lately. People are trying to recreate some of their cookies on TikTok and wanted to see what was all the rave was about. When I passed by a Crumbl on a recent outing, my husband and I didn’t pass up on the chance to grab some sweet treats to take home.

I paid $23 For 6 cookies, with tip and taxes it came up to almost $28 The price of one cookie is $4.49. I would say they are a better value than Insomnia cookie, yet still expensive. Their cookies are bigger, and depending on the flavor, taste better.
I rated these cookies based on a few factors: Moisture, Size, Calories, Taste & Price.
The flavors we got were Chocolate Chunk, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Square, Oreo Birthday Cake and Maple Cream Sandwich.
My favorite was ironically not a cookie, but a cake. Cinnamon Square is nothing like a cookie and everything like cake! I’m not mad though, it’s delicious! Although extremely high in calories and sugar if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s okay for a once in a while treat, but I wouldn’t eat the whole thing in one sitting. 1/4th of the “cookie” is the serving size. You get 4 servings from one Cinnamon Square. In fact, all of their cookies are 4 servings so keep that in mind if you’re watching your sugar and calorie intake. Not a bad deal for $4.49. That’s $1.12 a serving and better deal than Insomnia cookies. Insomnia cookies are a fraction of the size and if you like the deluxe flavors, are more expensive!
My second favorite was the Red Velvet which is surprising because I am not a fan of red velvet. I popped It in the oven and it came out soft and moist. It wasn’t overly sweet and the white chocolate chips added to the texture and flavor. My favorite cookies of all time is chocolate chip but I was not a fan of Crumbl’s version. I found it to be a bit dry with no chew factor and it just didn’t hit. It could have use some walnuts, too! Same with the Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter. It was just like the Chocolate Chunk just with peanut butter chips too. I wasn’t impressed.
My husband said the Oreo Birthday cake tasted like a birthday cake with chocolate chip cookies. He said it wasn’t bad and said he would choose it again if we went back. The Maple Cream cookie was bland. I didn’t care for it at all. It was bulky and despite it having cream in the middle was still dry. It tasted like maple with cream. Nothing special.
I would visit Crumbl again, I just know what to stay away from. Im glad I tried every flavor available that week. I’m a big fan of the Cinnamon Square and hope it’s on the menu when I go back! I was taken aback by the amount of sugar and calories that are in their cookies, but once in a while won’t hurt.
