Ingredients for Chicken Biryani

Sauté onions until golden, then add garlic, chillies, tomatoes, tomato puree, spices, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes and mash for a smoother sauce. Add chicken, simmer for 10 minutes and more water if needed. Simmer for another 5 minutes. In a separate pan, boil rice for 5 minutes and drain. Layer the rice and chicken mixture, garnish with cumin seeds and ginger, and simmer for 10 more minutes. Serve with salad, Cucumber or yogurt dip.
