Here’s a delicious recipe for Banana Bread with Walnuts and Chocolate Chips 🍌🍫

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2–3 ripe) bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or 1/3 cup for a less sweet version)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the melted butter. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients
Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Gently fold in the flour until just combined (don’t over mix).
  4. Add Walnuts & Chocolate Chips
Fold in chopped walnuts and chocolate chips evenly.
  5. Bake
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.)
  6. Cool & Serve
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor.
  • You can toast the walnuts beforehand to bring out extra flavor.
  • For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate over the top once cooled.
